Bail

Under state law there are provisions that provide for bail and a bondsman can help you or a loved one secure release from custody after an arrest. Contacting a bondsman promptly after being taken to jail can substantially decease stress and anxiety. More importantly, it can help maintain employment and family stability.

When a bail amount is too high I can assist in seeking a bail reduction with the Court. If the bail amount is reduced, or changed from cash only to bondable, it may then be possible to secure release from jail.

Under federal law not all charges will immediately qualify for release on bond. Some charges have a presumption of detention and others do not have a bail amount set until after there has been a detention hearing. In these cases it is important that counsel and the bondsman work closely together to seek an affordable bail amount.

It is vital to have counsel at a detention hearing or if the bail is too high. I can help.
