Kelly A. Fowler is an associate attorney specializing in criminal defense at the Law Office of Edwin S. Wall, P.C.

Kelly obtained B.A. degrees in Political Science, International Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies/Arabic from the University of Utah where she graduated magna cum laude in all.

As an undergrad, she was named a Boren Scholar through the U.S. State Department's National Security Education Program to further her study of Arabic in Mafraq, Jordan. Ms. Fowler then earned her J.D. from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, where she volunteered in the pro bono legal clinic and as a mediator in small claims court and for the Utah Labor Commission mediating employment and housing discrimination disputes.

As a student, her passions for resolving conflict and protecting constitutional rights were evident as she was awarded the CALI and COL awards in Constitutional Law and Mediation/Advanced Negotiation. She was also a member of the Client Representation in Negotiation team where she and her partner placed 1st in regional competition and 6th in the nation.

Ms. Fowler went on to complete an internship in criminal prosecution with the Salt Lake County District Attorney's office - winning her first jury trial while still a student and continued with the DA's office in their civil-litigation division until 2011. Kelly was admitted to the Utah Bar in 2010 and is committed to practicing law with integrity and passion.

When not in the courtroom, Ms. Fowler pursues her passion for Utah's architectural heritage by renovating historic homes and being active in advancing historic preservation. She also enjoys camping in Utah's beautiful back-country, Moroccan cooking, and traveling with her family.
